About Us
The Company!!
We are an amateur drama group who perform in the Market Hall in Saxmundham. We meet for rehearsals each week on Wednesday evenings in our Rehearsal Studio in Blaxhall from 7.30 pm until about 9.15 pm. With a mixture of ages and backgrounds, the common bond is a desire to work together and produce quality stage shows.
We are a small but committed group and have just staged our latest production in October 2009 as part of Saxmundham Arts Festival. We would like to hear from anyone who would like to get involved in any way in future productions.
We are looking for more people to come along and join us, both to help behind the scenes and to take active parts in our productions.
If you have secretly harboured an ambition to perform, there isn’t a better time to join us and get involved.
How we work
We believe in providing opportunities for anyone who wants to get involved with Fromus Players in any capacity. Any group is stronger than the sum of its parts and we draw our strength from the diversity of our members. All ages and backgrounds are welcome.
We are particularly interested in encouraging new actors to take part in our productions, and we are constantly looking out for people with technical skills to help with lighting, sound, set design and construction, and costume.
