Introduction
DO
YOU WANT TO EXPERIENCE THE ROAR OF THE GREASEPAINT AND THE SMELL OF THE
CROWD!!
We are an amateur drama
group who
perform twice a year in Saxmundham. We meet for rehearsals
each
week on a Wednesday evening in our new studio in Middleton from 7.30pm for
about two hours. With a mixture of
ages and
backgrounds, the common bond is a desire to work together and produce
quality stage shows.
We are a small but
committed group, and would like to hear from anyone who is
interested in getting involved in any way.
We are
looking for more people to come along and join us, both to help behind
the scenes and to take active parts in our productions.
If you have secretly
harboured an ambition to perform, there
isn't a better time to join us and get involved.

Next Production
Our latest production was on Friday and
Saturday, 27th and
28th
June 2008 in the Market Hall, Saxmundham, when we performed FlatSpin by Alan
Ayckbourn to very appreciative audiences. Some comments from
the audience were:
'I went to see Aspects of Love
in Ipswich before coming here, but you were much better.'
'We'll quite
happily walk through Saxmundham on Saturday morning with a sandwich
board advertising this excellent production.'
'Everything
about this production was superb - standard of acting, set design,
sound and light - and it was very entertaining as well.'
'It's a shame more local people
don't support you.'
The cast and production crew thoroughly enjoyed the experience of this,
our first full-length production, and we are now planning our next one.
